It is quite possible that cars with a gasoline engine will be replaced not by electric cars, but by automobiles with hydrogen engines. This was discussed at the “Energy of the Future” forum in Astana. Director of market development and Public Relations of a specialized hydrogen company Bjorn Simonsen spoke about the mechanism of hydrogen transport. It absorbs hydrogen and oxygen from the air and recycles them into electricity. Thus, the machine does not require time for charging, such as an electric car, and most importantly, it does not produce emissions. For these reasons, hydrogen-powered vehicles are actively introduced in Japan, Korea, California and recently in China. It’s not just about cars, but also buses, trains and even ferries.
